In the city of Montevideo, on September 9th, 2021, a group of citizens, freely and voluntarily, within the framework of Fundación FREE, have decided to join forces and fight for a society that embraces liberal values. To achieve this, they have created Foro de Montevideo.

Assuming that a Republican Democracy is undoubtedly the best possible political system; this project was born to collaborate on the strengthening of that system, our culture, values​​, and inherited traditions.

For this reason, we believe it is fundamental to encourage critical thinking, which is essential for the strengthening of any society and Nation.

Our work consists of:

• Being a forum for discussion on topics of interest that will be analyzed by specialists and brought to light.

• Promoting the debate of ideas regarding the current context, from a philosophical, political, legal, economic, and social point of view; fostering a tolerant exchange of opinions and ideas.

• Generating content and initiatives in defense of our institutions, guided by freedom, social responsibility, excellence in work, and service to society.

The global context and the regional one in which we live, need our ideas, actions, and commitment.
